When you are pregnant, is it okay to take Maalox or some type of heartburn and bloating relief tablet? - maalox heartburn

my friend is not quite sure whether she is pregnant and not in a position for a few days, but it has problems with the gas of all types and wants to know whether it is safe to take Maalox tablets of pain relief, acid reduction. Does anyone know?
