Cat Ate Curling Ribbon My Cat Ate Curling Ribbon And Is Vomiting And Not Eating. Has Anyone Been Through Something Similar?

My cat ate curling ribbon and is vomiting and not eating. Has anyone been through something similar? - cat ate curling ribbon

It has been 2-1/2 days now and still vomiting. Brown vomiting foam is now just white or delete them. The cat ate the tape Sunday morning (today) Tuesday. He threw what looked like most of the band, until Sunday, but it has not ceased, not eating and vomiting. The film was a curly bow with a maximum legroom.

I took the cat to the vet today and told him to watch over him and to him again tomorrow if you do not eat or poop. The cat acted hidden very beaten, vomiting and not acting like himself. He has not lost weight, and although the vet said he is not dehydrated, but try to boost 200 ml of fluid under the skin and a shot to divert vomiting. I leave you here for updates over time for later use in other This fate.

I'm sorry your cat is in the movie, the creatures that are a bit harder then!
I am surprised that the vet can not see X-rays of his abdomin if I could see all the blocks. In this way they can make movies and see how things go or if there is no change given.
Good luck, but if things are in motion, is likely to take place Wednesday, Kitty, an operation is necessary to remove the tape from the intestine.

My cat eats everything, especially rubber bands, plastic bags, rope and a piece of metal that $ 1300 had surgery to remove. I hope your cat recovers quickly and you are looking for the film normal. Let these things not exist, but it will go through the garbage, if not covered.

You need another opinioin another vet. The first thing the vet should be an X-ray to see whether the parts of the chain remains stuck in the belly. I bet it is and it is not better when it will be removed in the stool or by surgery.

Ask your veterinarian for an x-ray or have reported only 2

Good luck!

You will need an operation if some of them remain in the stomach. What happened to me, but my dog and foil.

My cat does the same thing, but it looks very good, so I do not know how to help.

It's a good chance that the surgery needed to remove it. made an X-ray?

My cat ate a piece of tinsel time. It was awful. I do not know it was a big problem until I saw blood everywhere. When I saw the flakes from his anus bleeding. I hate to admit it, but now had no money to bring him to the vet, so I took it out slowly and gently. It was tough, but he recovered well. If your cat does not vomit, and I think it would have to be removed by surgery. I am sure that probably is what the vet will tell you when you come back tomorrow.

That's why I'm saying ....... Rope or tape, no rubber bands or anything as a "language / can swallow." These things can get tangled around the base of the tongue, stomach, intestines, and so on ... Surgery alone can remove.

If X-rays with him? If he made much of him so far is vomiting, some are in it ...... Way Up, and enmeshed worse than it began to be convinced! :-(

If you're lucky .... Bandpass slowly begins to pick his shit ..... but if (IF) that happens, they immediately take to the vet, so they help him to distribute. Do not shoot!

From now on, very careful when you tape, rope, wire, etc ... the son sewing (with or without needle!)! You do not wantmething happen again .........

Hope is good ....... and a speedy recovery.

Yes eat, like my cats, my hair bands and bracelets. If the kitten, flexible and met my father ate everything, something to hide. They hid for nearly a week, but we knew that they were still alive, because we found his own vomit everywhere. They lie, because what you do if you do not feel good, and they will stop vomiting after all, you simply remove all of its system, which is probably why he did not eat. In any case, help, sick, they touch a wheat grass.
Or simply listen to the vet, I'm sure you've seen many times before, eat like a cat in a string!
Good luck, I hope your cat feels better.
