Whats the deal with the little pictures on the GM parts packaging? - pictures the parts of a sailboat

I work in a garage, and every time the title at Chevrolet, there is always a small window on the packaging. Sometimes you have a house, cherries, turtles, chickens, stuff, and I wondered about it. Who knows why they put those little pictures on the packaging? Perhaps as a sort of procedures for the storage?
